Am Samstag 17. Mai 2008 wird ein anarchistisches Gedenken am Gelände des ehemaligen KZs Gusen stattfinden. Das Konzentrationslager Gusen war das erste Zweiglager des Konzentrationslagers Mauthausen. Es war das größte Außenlager, zeitweise größer als das Lager Mauthausen selbst. Mindestens 36.000 Menschen sind in Gusen zu Tode gequält worden. Trotzdem werden die Wenigsten beim Namen “Gusen” an das Todeslager denken, das sich von 1940-1945 dort befunden hat. Das ist “Vergangenheitsbewältigung” bestehend aus Ignorieren, Verdrängen und Opfermythos.

Die heutige Sendung hat 2 Themen, und wie ihr euch sicherlich schon durch die Inhaltswarnung denken könnt hat sind beides keine schönen, im Gegenteil. Der erste und auch längere Teil ist ein Text zum Selbstmord des trans Gefangenen Taylor in England. Der zweite Teil ist in Statement zur Umbenennung und Umstrukturierung von „Operation Solidarity“, ein Zusammenschluss von antiautoritären Menschen und Gruppen die Soliarbeit in der Ukraine gemacht hat.

Am 24. Febraur 2022 gab es im Wiener Antifa-Cafe eine äußerst spannende Veranstaltung zum Thema “LUMPENPROLETARIAT. DIE UNTERKLASSEN ZWISCHEN DIFFAMIERUNG UND REVOLUTIONÄRER HANDLUNGSMACHT” mit dem Autor Christopher Wimmer.
Aus dem Ankündigungstext: In der Literatur werden sie oft als »Vagabunden« oder »Pöbel« bezeichnet, die Angehörigen des Lumpenproletariats. Schon bei Karl Marx werden sie nicht ökonomisch oder klassentheoretisch bestimmt, sondern in moralischen Kategorien beschrieben. Sie sind primär nicht Subjekte (ihrer Geschichte), sondern werden als Objekte der Verachtung und Abwertung, wie auch der Erziehung, wenn nicht Disziplinierung beschrieben. Sie gelten als unproduktiver und arbeitsunwilliger Auswurf der Unterklassen.
